Yellowstone Valley Rare Bird Alerts
Four White-faced Ibis were present this afternoon (Sunday)in the 56th Street Ponds. The Ponds are on the eastern side of South 56th Street West between Danford and Neibauer Roads
best viewed from a pull off at the top of a hill a short distance north of Danford.
An Indigo Bunting has been coming into Helen Carlson's yard today (Monday, May 7th.) It is a male in full breeding plumage.
Helen lives at 519 Highland Park Dr. in Billings and her phone number is 248-8684.
Birders are welcome, though it might be a good idea to phone ahead to see if the bird is still coming into her yard.
Monty Sullins reported that a Trumpeter Swan was on the pond at South 64th Street West and Laurel Airport Road today (May 10th).
Kathie Haigh reported today that Four White-faced Ibis were on a duck pond 5 miles East of Columbus, South of the river.
